Building Skills for Your Child's Future

School aged children spend most of their time juggling assignments, friendships, and extra-curricular activities.

Our school-age program, or our “out-of-school-time” care, offers children engaging learning and recreational experiences. School-agers crave the freedom to discover things that interest them most and gives them structure to build essential skills for their future. EASC allows our school-agers to explore their passion in a comfortable age-appropriate environment. We help them explore what fascinates them through a variety of special interest clubs that spark their imagination. Our club format provides your child with fun, exciting and challenging activities, and projects to create while continuing to learn.

Problem-Solving Through Creativity

Project-based learning is a hands-on curriculum that uses real-world topics to engage the kids and facilitate learning about concepts and new ideas.

Problem-solving through creativity is a student-centered approach to fun activity learning that puts kids in the driver's seat. Project-based learning gives the kids a meaningful real-world problem to work on and encourages them to solve it using their own knowledge and skills. A very important component of growing up is learning and socially interacting. We've found the combination of creative expressions and the project learning curriculum to work the best for our children. School-aged children are usually very interested in creative activities, so our counselors use creative activities like theater, singing, dancing, poetry, art, and hobbies to help our school-age children express themselves with:

  • Imagination
  • Confidence
  • Expressive, cognitive, and social skills
  • Verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Making decisions, solving problems, and strategic thinking
  • Emotional connections
